The vast expanse of Iceland's southern coastal plain, its glaciers, waterfalls, black beaches and bird life are the subject of this panoramic tour. First stop is by the waterfall Seljalandsfoss, set against the backdrop of Eyjafjallajökull glacier, before continuing to the waterfall Skógarfoss and Folk Museum at Skógar. One of the most interesting of its kind in Iceland. The tour then continues east, past the towering mass of Mýrdalsjökull glacier to Reynisfjara, a black sandy beach, with a spectacular rock formations and caves, (or to Dyrholey, a bird nesting cape, only open for traffic after mid June). then onward to Iceland's souther most village Vik, after a short stop at Vik, we return towards Reykjavik, exploring on the way the glacier Solheimajokull, were one can touch the glacier. (Extra option: snow mobiling on Myrdalsjokull - not included in price)
