From Reykjavik, heading towards Hvalfjordur (Whale bay) a long fjord on Iceland's west coast. Observing on the way interesting landscape and bird live, stopping at a old whale station. Then onward to Borgarfjordur distric. Visiting museum of 12th century historian Snorri Sturluson, writer of many Viking Sagas. The beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls are not to be missed, as well as Deildartunguhver Europe's largest hot spring. On going to the village Borgarnes, were Egils-saga, of the Viking Egill Skallagrimsson took place. Also at Borgarnes one has the opportunity of visiting, the Settlement show (museum)Before returning back to Reykjavik.
